Editor

Melissa Hacker is an editor and director. She worked as an editor on The Endurance: Shackleton's Legendary Antarctic Expedition, produced by George Butler for PBS broadcast. Additional editing credits include: Avalanche!, a National Geographic Explorer documentary; Fight for Your Rights: Through My Eyes, an MTV Documentary screened before members of Congress and broadcast in October 1999; and True Life: I Need Sex Rx, a MTV Documentary that aired in October 1999. Melissa directed and edited, My Knees Were Jumping, Remembering the Kindertransports. My Knees Were Jumping, screened at the Sundance Film Festival, was selected by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as an Outstanding Documentary, and was a Certificate of Merit Winner at the San Francisco International Film Festival. It aired nationally on PBS in Spring of 1999, and in the UK on Film Four in the Fall of 1999.

Co-Producer

Vickie Kenny was Consulting Producer on Rocks with Wings, a four-hour documentary series directed and produced by Rick Derby and Shiprock Productions for Oregon Public Broadcasting. Recently, she served as Consulting Producer on Absolutely Safe?, and The Empty Chair. She was a Co-Producer on the groundbreaking, An American Love Story, a ten-hour documentary series directed by Jennifer Fox. The series was presented by American Playhouse, Independent Television Service, and Zohe Film Productions. Vickie was Senior Associate Producer and Music Supervisor on Grist for the Mill, directed by Cynthia Wade, and presented on HBO/Cinemax on Father's Day 1999.

Cinematographer

Cynthia Wade is Director and Cinematographer of the feature-length documentary Shelter Dogs, which will air on HBO's America Undercover series in 2003. She recently finished shooting Risk/Reward, a feature-length documentary about women on Wall Street for Oxygen Media. Wade directed and wrote Grist For The Mill, a personal video diary presented on HBO/Cinemax on Father's Day 1999. She was co-producer and the principal verite cinematographer for the 1998 PBS documentary Taken In: The Lives of America's Foster Children, which was awarded a Columbia-DuPont Award for Excellence in Journalism. Wade has been Field Producer for A&E's Biography and Ancient Mysteries series, Discovery's On The Inside and the History Channel's In Search of History television series. Her corporate clients include Intel, The Gap, Metropolitan Life, Mutual of America, and Goldman Sachs; non-profit clients include The Drucker Foundation, Yale University, The Bush Center for Social Policy, California Emergency Foodlink, REACH Charter School, HELP for the Homeless, Boston's Museum of Science and the Computer Clubhouse of Boston.

Composer

Joel Goodman is a full-time composer, creating music for features, documentaries and television. In January of 2002, the Hollywood Reporter honored Joel as one of the "Indie Composers to Watch". Joel has composed a significant amount of music for the documentary community, including Sundance Film selections Children Underground (2001 Special Jury Award winner), American Standoff (Sundance 2002), Green Chimneys and My Knees Were Jumping. In addition, he scored the critically acclaimed Concert of Wills: Building the Getty Center, by Susan Froemke, Bob Eisenhardt, and Albert Maysles. Joel is also an active producer. His credits include Chuck Mangione, Livingston Taylor, and Carla Lother, as well as albums for the Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum of Art, and the J. Paul Getty Museum.
